200,000 kilos of meat, poultry merchandise recalled over undeclared allergens

Some 200,000 kilos of meat and poultry merchandise are dealing with recall as a result of they comprise undeclared — and for some, presumably life-threatening — allergens.

The U.S. Division of Agriculture’s Meals Security and Inspection Service (FSIS) on Monday introduced the recall of meat and poultry merchandise from Las Vegas, Nev.-based firm Mr. Wok Meals, Inc. as a result of the merchandise are stated to comprise undeclared allergens together with milk, wheat, soy, peanuts, or oysters.

“The issue was found by FSIS in-plant personnel throughout routine label opinions, after they discovered that a number of allergens weren’t listed on labels for varied merchandise,” in response to the FSIS, which famous that no antagonistic reactions related to the recalled merchandise have been reported to this point.

The frozen meat and poultry items were produced from Aug. 6, 2019, through Aug. 6, 2020.
